Sandeep Shah started SAS RESTAURANT VENTURES INC. in 2008 with the purchase of one Denny’s restaurant located in Big Bear, California. Over 12 years later, SAS operates over 37 Denny’s locations across 5 states with a team of approximately 1500 dedicated employees. 

As a leader within the Denny’s franchise we are shaped by the simple philosophy that we love to feed people and all are welcome. SAS is passionate about the growth and development of all its employees and are dedicated to training its present and future associates on serving all guests in a consistent and professional manner.

Known as America’s Diner, Denny’s has made strides in helping local communities through charitable contributions and fundraisers, which SAS has been an active participant in. SAS owned restaurants have been top contributors to programs such as No Kid Hungry and the Feeding America programs, which help children and families overcome food insecurities due to lack of available resources in their area. Our commitment to philanthropy is one we take great pride in and will continue to expand in the years to come. 

Being an active member of the Denny’s Franchise Association, SAS is directly involved in the shaping of the future of the Denny’s brand and we are excited for what is to come in the future.
